As a Powder Champion, I find these 6 quick tips will improve your turns in the Powder!
1. Jump on your heels to start the turn, this will make sure you’re centered and the ski will react to its forces.
2. Move from your heels to your toes to steer out of the turn.
3. Think of skiing powder like a porpoise jumps in and out of the waves.
4. Use Ski Design to help dictate turn shape.
5. Bring knees to stomach to retract out of the powder.
6. Don't turn so much across the hill, go down the fall line! Don’t be a wimp, you’ll plane out at a comfortable speed you’ll get used too.
